Repatterning Hypnosis,™ founded by Dr. Yana Castle, combines traditional and alternative hypnotherapy methods with a Buddhist perspective, transpersonal counseling, shamanism and energy work. In hypnotherapy sessions, obstacles to ones physical, mental, emotional and spiritual states of being are addressed, re-envisioned, transformed and released.
Although hypnosis is short term therapy, it is highly effective at getting to the 'core' of issues. It derives, in part, from the age old method of inducing deep relaxation 'trance' states for obtaining access to one's innate wisdom for guidance. Positive visualizations or suggestions are then applied for resolution and the achievement of optimum results.

How many sessions will I need?
Depending on the issue and the level of your motivation for change, most issues can be resolved quickly and easily, in significantly less time than it would take in traditional 'talk therapy.' Generally, five to eight sessions are recommended as it will give you ample time to get comfortable and familiar with the process of hypnotherapy. Each session will build momentum so that results—resolution of your issue—are noticeable and fully integrated.

You leave feeling relaxed, renewed and equipped with resources to help you on your path to wellness, including empowering exercises you can do at home such as the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or 'tapping'.
What are ‘suggestions?'
Hypnotic suggestions are mental pictures, words and 'anchors' that are offered to you while you are in a hypnotic trance state. They are based on what you specifically want for yourself and insights gained through our pre-hypnosis discussions. The suggestions support you in making the changes you are looking to achieve.
Can I get stuck in hypnosis?
This is a myth. You can come out of hypnosis anytime you like in the same way you would snap yourself out of a daydream.
